The H.L. Neblett Community Center is committed to empowering the lives of children and adults through its many programs and activities.

Trib Ball “Free to Learn”
Childcare Center

The Trib Ball “Free to Learn” Childcare center is a state-licensed program that teaches fundamental life skills as well as literacy skills to children, ages six weeks to twelve years of age.

Western Academy at The Neblett

Western Academy at The Neblett is an academic enrichment program for African American and Biracial males grades 3 through 12. Our mission at Western Academy at The Neblett is to encourage, empower, and educate our young males to excel and create a positive footprint in the world.

Center After-School
Enrichment Program

Our After-School Enrichment Program provides fun and enlightening educational programs for students ages four years through twelve years of age.

Evening Recreation
Program

Our Evening Recreation Program is offered Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., as well as, selected Saturdays, for all youth from 9 through 17 years of age.

Physical
Fitness

Our physical fitness/weight room is open and offered at no cost for anyone 18 years and older. We offer Zumba dancing and Hip-Hop Cardio classes several times a week in our dance room.

Food Nutrition
Program

Proper nutrition is an important part of an excellent child development program because it is an essential part of good health. We believe good nutrition is crucial to maintaining a healthy body and mind. We prepare breakfast/morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, and dinner, which meets the requirements of our partnership with the Federal Food Program.

Neblett Center Mature
Adult Program

The Mature Adult Program is offered to adults ages 50 and older. The purpose of this program is to enhance the lives of seniors by providing fellowship and entertainment through trips, dinners, cultural programs, theatrical plays, and gospel musicals.
