Interim Executive Director
Carltez Hampton is honored to serve as the Interim Executive Director. Prior to that role, Carltez served as the director of Childcare and the Afterschool Enrichment Program at the H.L Neblett Community Center. Having earned a bachelor’s degree from Western KY University, Carltez has devoted more than 16 years to working with the youth and their families. He is committed to creating a strong educational program while staying true to the mission that Dr. & Mrs. Hattie L. Neblett created.

Western Academy Director
Olga McKissic brings a wealth of experience to the directorship at the Neblett Center. She worked for BellSouth for thirty years and retired as a Corporate Trainer and Sales Team Manager in Business Marketing in Louisville, KY. After retiring she accepted the position of Operations Manager at Marshall Capital Management Group, a financial advisory firm in Louisville, Ky.
She is a graduate of Owensboro High School and earned a BA degree from Spaulding University in Louisville, KY, and a Master of Theology degree from Campbellsville University in Campbellsville, KY. Currently, she is an associate minister at Fourth Street Baptist Church and also, is the Director of Western Academy at The Neblett.

Director of Human Resources & Operations
Andy Crowe is originally from Ohio County, Kentucky and has his Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies from the University of Northern Iowa. He is an avid sports fan, cheering on the Atlanta Braves for baseball and UNI for football and basketball. He is very active in his church as well as youth sports here in the community. Andy regularly volunteers with CASA of the Ohio Valley and Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky.

Director of Finance
Christopher Stuchell is originally from Columbia, Kentucky. He is the owner of Strive Consulting LLC, a management consulting company that works to help small businesses achieve their goals. He holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in English from Lindsey Wilson University and is working towards a post-baccalaureate certificate in Accounting from Brescia University. He currently serves as a Board Member for zoomgroup, a nonprofit organization out of Louisville, KY that serves individuals with developmental disabilities. In his spare time, Chris enjoys cooking, baking, and listening to music.

Director of Compliance
Vanessa Ewing is originally from Muhlenberg County, KY and moved to Owensboro to have a fresh start. She graduated from Grayson County High School in Leitchfield, KY with a general diploma in 2000. Since then, she has worked in multiple positions that have allowed her to gain experience and knowledge in the workforce. Prior to becoming the Director of Compliance at the Neblett Center, Vanessa was the Administrative Assistant for three years, allowing her to become very familiar with the procedures and processes that keep the organization going. She is a very detailed person who takes pride in staying organized and anticipating needs to enhance workplace efficiency. Her main hobby since coming to Owensboro is learning the roads and making friends that she enjoys spending time with.
