How Do I Enroll My Child?
Come by the Neblett Center’s front office and request an application. You’ll then meet with our Director of Compliance, Vanessa, and our Childcare Coordinator, T’Onna, to discuss next steps.
Is There a Waiting List?
Depending on the time of year and other factors, there may be a waiting list for your child’s classroom. We highly recommend calling the Center to check on the waiting list status before enrolling your child. If your child is on the waiting list for one classroom, but is about to have a birthday, it is possible that they could be enrolled in the next age group.
Is Food Provided for My Child?
Through the Federal Government’s CACF Program, the Neblett Center is able to provide all enrolled children with breakfast, lunch, and snack every day that they attend. We also provide meals on field trips, and occasionally will treat the kids to special treats.
How Do I Apply for Childcare Assistance?
To apply for the Childcare Assistance Program (CCAP) through the state of Kentucky, simply come by our office and pick up the necessary form. Once that is filled out, take it to the Office of Family Support, located at 3649 Wathens Crossing
Owensboro, KY 42301.
Does the Neblett Center Accept Children with Special Needs?
We are working on helping our staff receive training so that they can help children of all abilities. That being said, children with disabilities or special needs are enrolled on a case-by-case basis so that we can provide the best quality of care for all of our children. For questions about this, please contact our Interim Executive Director, Mr. Carltez at [email protected].
